Spray Painted Lampshade | daisymaebelle filament
Like the other day, when we were driving down the road, she casually said, “So, Mom, when you were in college did you have a good sense of style? Would you have considered yourself fashionable?”

I’d hate to think what she’d say about the clothes we wore in the 50′s and 60′s and after that, cracks me up. My youngest has always liked retro stuff so she thought the clothes I wore in 50′s and 60′s were cool. She was born in 1970, her older sister 1960. Sometimes if I see a movie with the older clothes I have to ask, we really dressed that way? I graduated filament high school in 1958. You know that’s when Elvis was getting so popular, I thought he was ugly and didn’t sing all that well. I was way in for the Beach boys and all those guys. I thought the clothes we wore in 70′s and 80′s were pretty funky. A study in human nature and fashion styles huh? Sounds like Daisy is really getting into style, becoming more aware of other people’s filament ideas. That’s good and she’s filament learning about decorating, making her own embellishments. It will be exciting to see what she becomes when she’s filament an adult. I find human nature so fascinating.
Who knew? Looks so much better now!
