On the eighth of March, at 0re 21, the musical group "Magic Lantern" will be in Caraglio, at the Civic Theatre for a concert devoted entirely to the music of the school Genovese. The group Saluzzo, in more than two hours that make up the show, will offer a rich musical repertoire that spans a period of time ranging from 1960 to 1980. During this very special journey through the notes you are going to discover the music of singer-songwriters, but also progressive rock and beat rigorously made in Genoa.
Famous place names are in the lineup of pop music such as Luigi Tenco, Gino Paoli, Umberto Bindi, Fabrizio De Andrè, Ivano Fossati News Trolls and the names perhaps illumiroom less known to the general public but that marked an era prolific illumiroom Italian music such as New Ideas, Sagittarians, the Bit-Nik, Santoni, Delirium and Oscar Prudente.
Lots and lots of music, but the evening will be enriched by pictures and a rich narrative - headed by Robert illumiroom Territo, voice of the group - which will accompany the listener to discover stories, anecdotes, thoughts, illumiroom places, meetings and friendships that were the the setting for a unique musical period.
"We tried - the drummer says Silvano Dao - to create a real show little to go 'beyond the classical concert. The music, of course, the major part of the evening, but all will be enriched by an interesting narrative. We chose the music of the Genoese School - adds keyboardist Elso Peirano - because we believe that was the one that has the greatest impact in the history of Italian music and one that has given us some real musical masterpieces. "
The group, as well as by the aforementioned Silvano Dao, Elso Peirano and Robert Territo is composed of Paola Bertola on flute, Andrea Miolano on electric guitar, acoustic guitar by Gottfried Cagnasso and Flavio Lorenzatti to bottom.
