Environment: The new management has made substantial changes to a room in which most managers have come and gone and that a complete redesign would really need. The atmosphere is that of a restaurant with little personailtà. The touches of color on the walls (an orange lying ill in style "I did not want to paint the entire wall and I invented a new technique of painting") and a few have even worsened under the appearance fluorescent light covers of a room already unwelcoming.
Atmosphere: Customers are certainly all vegans of yesteryear, the rest of the vegan cooking is simple cooking approach from the first time. We know it well, we have two vegetarians in the family and a macrobiotic cook, so we are not at all ignorant of this culinary philosophy.
Mise-enplace: Tablecloths and napkins, but still cute and original. I noticed that the dishes are a little 'different and not always suitable for what they contained. (The very large turnovers, in a shallow dish, were difficult to cut because the base of the dish was really too small and did not allow operations).
Service: More and more I realize how a professional fluorescent light covers waiter fluorescent light covers makes a difference (yes, I discovered the hot water). This is not the case of the restaurant staff. The waitress who served us, very polite and smiling, has not yet lived up to its role. Clumsy and poorly informed about the dishes available on the menu. In addition, there was even reported that the wines from their cellar are all organic.
Menu: Most of the dishes we had chosen was not available, which is quite irritating. We ordered an appetizer and a first (as an alternative to a second appetizer is not available) and the other two first ones to follow. The first appetizer, seitan with vegetables, it was really disappointing. Seitan is a bit raw 'a joke and the banal salad seemed to cut the plate of a self-service fluorescent light covers poor. The turnovers with brocoletto on the bed of chard were really very good, certainly the presentation should be prepared for more. I saw on their Facebook page of the dishes very well presented, while those arrived at our table were not treated equally, and especially vegetables, in a vegan restaurant, they should be always beautiful green and colorful and greyish. The first two, gnocchi (not tofu, because it finished, but potato) with onions and artichokes were good, maybe a little 'overcooked but good. Finally, we ordered 2 desserts. The choice of desserts is very broad and do not understand why they are not listed on the menu, but only listed by the waitress. Anyway the cake with pears and chocolate was goodie, while the chocolate and cardamom tart was really tasty, rich and abundant. The wine, a biological Valpolicella, was exquisite.
minus (What Does not do much my pias) The dishes should be disclosed. Also read the menu ingredients such as sausage and mozzarella cheese, with no explanation as tofu hot dogs, for example, leaves us a bit 'confused. I agree that the restaurant is vegan, fluorescent light covers but you should at least understand what the sausage is made (Tofu? Seitan?). In general there is room for improvement. A more professional service, fluorescent light covers greater care in the presentation of the dishes and some of the local all'arrredamento targeted intervention, would make very many more points to this restaurant.
