But when I try to import the files to my table it says "invalid gft file" do I need to rename it? Or can I add them to the gft26_00 which you guys release? I have forgotten how I do this, its been a while since I worked with the Frog.
All works fine. Only the colour mixing is in CYM, every colour is lit when its on 0. That's not really a problem, I don't mind it. But can I change that to RGB if I wanted to? When I look in the fixture editor it says Red, Green & Blue so that is confusing to me.
I can see what you mean. If you have configured and selected an RGB fixture and press the Colour MFK, the LCD display shows CYM and not RGB. This is a "feature" of the desk and I haven't seen anywhere in the manual if this can be changed, so may be a new feature request to be able to switch between different display modes. Traditional movers tend to have fixed colour wheels or CMY wheels so is likely to be an interesting discussion. The saving grace is that with a monitor attached, displaying the Colour Palettes and then selecting the Fader button shows RGB, CMY and HSV.
But I think you can't change it, because when I loaded the "Expression 5000" fixture from the gft26_00 file the colours were displayed as RGB. But after the latest update that too is displayed as CMY on the LCD.
Here you can choose the Colour Space you wish to use globally across the console - either RGB or CMY. This means you don't have to keep switching between majo CMY and RGB if you have both styles of fixtures in your rig.
