New nice lights have seen the light of the recent past and these are from Danish Lightyears. Three beauties where I addressed most of the first Aeon Rocket. Morten Voss has combined metal and polypropylene, and put a lot of effort into creating harmonious proportions in this light. The screen at the top is metal and causes the light to flow down through the incredibly beautiful pattern. Made in two sizes ... Ø400 and Ø600 mm.
Next light is created by the duo GamFratesi that has been so much talked about recently in conjunction with the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair, where they created a lounge that fair's Guest of Honour. The first from Scandinavia ever been invited to it. The lamp Volume has been inspired by the buttons on the old amp and is the size of a palm which invites turning it as an audio button. And it works, but instead of sound adjust in this way the light! Really smart!
And last but not least the lamp, Lullaby streetlights which is designed by our international greatness Monika Förster. She has found inspiration for this lamp from another greatness, the Japanese sculptor and designer Isamu Noguchi (his table feels safe again). Monika wanted to create streetlights a series of hanging lamps that breathed o palescens, ease and grace. O palescens is the way in which light is scattered in the translucent material. In this case, crushed limestone, which is rugged and waterproof, yet soft and sensory. To give more light statute also used wooden slats in ash. As you can see it is available in three sizes with diameters 241, 430 and 588 mm.
