Like millions of São Paulo, I'm user of the São Paulo Metro for years. ligt My path starts at 7.30 and goes from Corinthians Itaquera station to station Republic by the red line, and after that access the Yellow Line to get to work. This whole path should happen within 45 minutes and on days with rainfall between 50 minutes and an hour. It should, because in 90% of days have not been so.
I, like millions of users have become hostages of the poor public transport system. Last week, a strike - still very poorly explained - the bus made the city a real chaos. This week we begin with the subway strike threatening its users from tomorrow (27/05/2014). WELL!
In my path, this morning, for no apparent reason the trains of 3-Red Line (path described above), this trip simply slowed to 1:50 a.m. minutes. Ie, to embark on Itaquera at 7:45 (15 minutes to the train arriving at the station), managed ligt to get the Republic station at 9:35. I arrived late to work just as millions of users.
The justification ligt of the subway was, that for reasons of rain (which did not happen), ligt the trains were at reduced speed. That on the platform during the whole trip, no explanation was given to users during the trip.

My time is 09:00, the company tolerates 15 minutes late and after this period, I can not go to work. Thus, discounting the VT, VR, my day and DSR. Anny thanks for your report. Every day the situation has gotten worse. There are still forecast to strike tomorrow. Today at 18:30 there will be a meeting to discuss and approve or not strike.
